We start horses from the ground up.
I enjoy working with a willing horse. Showing the horse the right way to do what I'm asking by releasing pressure when the correct response is given. There's nothing better than taking a horse and having it learn new things, becoming a willing partner and a joy to ride.
Sienna and I have the honor of carrying the Flag every year for the Cowgirl Weekend put on by Scott & Trina Miller of the Watterson Ranch.
We were also in the 2007 August issue of the Western Horsemen Magazine for that event.
Well the TSTR week long ride went great....22 wagons and over 160 riders...Wow. Great dances and lot's of friends.
Looking forward to all the other rides for this year. Hope to see ya'll out on a few.
Well spring is here and the weather is warming up...I'm on foal watch at this point, Sienna could foal anytime. My stud colt is coming along nicely undersaddle. He had his first group ride and did great. Many good rides to come in his future. Had a great Ranch Sorting this weekend at Watterson Ranch. Came in second and in the money.....good job Chica....a great mare learning a new game, and also to my partner Dicky....I had a ball....
